About Shop The Neighbourhood™
Shop The Neighbourhood is a Yellow Pages Group initiative, a campaign to encourage local shopping and support for small businesses, culminating in a local shopping day on November 30, 2013. Taking place during the busiest shopping season of the year, Shop The Neighbourhood raises awareness of the large-scale push from retailers both online and across the border which moves dollars away from the small businesses which directly impacts the health of our neighbourhoods and our communities. On November 30th, people will be encouraged to make a local purchase in support of businesses across the Greater Toronto Area and take advantage of exclusive event day deals and savings at local businesses, hosted both online and on the mobile apps of YellowPages.ca™ , ShopWise and RedFlagDeals.com .
Shop The Neighbourhood is part of Yellow Pages Group’s My Neighbourhood First initiative, the company’s corporate social responsibility commitment to contributing to strong local economies and thriving neighbourhoods.
