Don Morrison is the Chair of the Ontario Global 100; an organization established to accelerate the growth of 100 of Ontario’s most promising companies backed by a collaboration of major Canadian financial institutions and globally successful companies. He is the retired Chief Operating Officer of BlackBerry/Research In Motion during the high-growth years, and prior to BlackBerry/Research In Motion, he undertook a number of senior leadership positions in Canada, the United States, Europe and the Middle East with AT&T and Bell Canada. A committed philanthropist, Don has been on the boards of a multitude of charities and not-for-profit organizations over his lifetime. He is currently the Chairman and Founder of New Seeds: The Thomas Merton Centre and Chair of the Board of the Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a member of the Board of the MasterCard Foundation, Yellow Pages Limited and Doxim.
