Lifecycle Analysis

Yellow Pages Group commissioned Ellipsos, a firm specializing in life-cycle assessments to adapt the results of a study completed by the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement, Inc (NCASI) and evaluate the specific impacts of Yellow Pages™ directory. The results demonstrated that the carbon footprint of a print directory lifecycle is smaller than many daily household activities such as doing two loads of laundry.

User Choice

As we grow our digital platforms and with changing habits around how people search for local businesses, it’s important that we provide users with choice around how they wish to access our content. Our print directory opt-out program allows people to remove their addresses from the print directory delivery list and we promote this program regularly through both traditional and social media.
